You know, at first I was kinda sad that I had missed my 4,000th pageview . . . then I had kind of an epiphany: when I was little, it occurred to me that any day is an anniversary - every day you're a year older than you were on that day last year, right? So why shouldn't you celebrate and get gifties! (Ah, if only my parents had bought into the idea! ) So similarly, any pageview number is special, if you decide you want it to be; hence, the "thanks for 4,567 pagesviews!" (lol, it's just a fun number! )

So here, finally, we have Kakuzu and Hidan here to say thank you. For their special appearance, I went with Scottish attire (men in kilts - woot, yeah! ). Kakuzu very kindly agreed to wear the traditional daytime ensemble: kilt shirt, kilt, belt, sporran (that little pouch hanging in front - it's basically your pocket when you're wearing a kilt), kilt pin in the shape of a celtic sword, kilt hose, sgian dubh (tucked into top of hose), flashes (to hold the wool hose up), and ghillie brogues (those are the shoes). Hidan, not surprisingly, opted for the far less traditional look of a bare chest and combat boots (although I'm pretty sure he's quite traditional as far as what he wears UNDER his kilt ). And yes, although badly rendered in pencil, those are real tartans: Kakuzu's is Black Watch, but I wasn't able to find a name for Hidan's. (By the way, please don't tell Hidan, but real sgian dubhs aren't acutally all that sharp - it's impressive if you can manage to cut a slice of cheddar with one! )

Of course, if you aren't just here to look at guys in kilts, then you must be here for the gratitude - and that's good, 'cause that's the whole point and purpose of the pic!
