Free sketch #3: Sachiyo (in her Chapter 4 finery) from
 's story entitled "Sachiyo." Sachiyo is half-Irish, half-Japanese and hellbent on a personal mission. The prologue to her story can be found here: [link] Just a word of warning - some parts of Sachiyo's story are quite graphic and have mature content.On a personal note, this marks my first time trying to draw a katana, as well as my first time trying to draw a yakuza tattoo! My free sketch peeps certainly are insuring that I have to learn to draw new stuff - no ruts for me!  Sachiyo belongs to - only she has permission to use this picture, if she so desires. |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
