My extended family has been having a reunion every Thanksgiving since 1863. A couple years ago, my 'rents and I hosted it, and this is the pic I drew for the invitation.

Very simple pencil and ink drawing of a civil war couple. Not my best effort at the hands, but I must say I'm quite proud of her sleeves! :)

I generally feel more comfortable with colors than with trying to do black & white stuff, so this was a bit of a stretch for me.

i prefer black and white myself ^^ i usually find if i colour a picture it gets ruined. but not always :D
